Really Goin’ Down is the product of two gentlemen with ridiculously eclectic interests: Pusha B and Zack Money. This idea was conceived in an alternate universe in the backwoods of Washington state millenia ago. Pusha B and Zack Money were attending a joint benefit show for the Garth Marenghi Foundation for Underprivileged Children With Psychokinetic Abilities where Wolves in the Throne Room were playing a set with Daft Punk. Zack Money spilled a cup of lean on some random Southern Lord metal dude and things looked ugly, but then a light shone down from Heaven and the true mysteries of the universe were unveiled before our own eyes. A large black man in a solid white mink coat and hat spoke to us and said…
“IT’S REALLY GOIN’ DOWN IN THE GOD DAMN SOUTH BEEEEITCH.”
We knew from that moment forward it was our purpose in this life to maintain a blog on the internets where we could express our worldly views on things such as large hadron colliders, astral projection, and skittering dirty south beats.
Really Goin’ Down is a project born from love. The kind of love between two men that is so strong that it sometimes seemingly crosses the line between platonic and homoerotic. And by “sometimes” I mean constantly.
